13 SIFE teams presenting their organizations and projects + over 65 business leaders serving as judges, 28 May 2010 at Randstad HQ: SIFE The Netherlands National Competition 2010 has been a great success!
After an exciting Opening Round in the morning, SIFE Universiteit Leiden, SIFE Universiteit Maastricht, SIFE UvA and SIFE Universiteit Utrecht were selected to present their results to a judging panel of senior business leaders and CEOs in the Final Round.
All teams did a great job and proved to have brought the spirit of SIFE alive in this country. Though, only one team could be announced to be the SIFE National Champion 2010, representing the Netherlands at the SIFE World Cup in Los Angeles in October this year. And the winner is: SIFE UvA!
Congratulations to the team of the Universeit van Amsterdam. Also congratulations to the first runner-up “SIFE Universiteit Leiden”, the second runner-up “Universiteit Utrecht” and the third runner-up “SIFE Universiteit Maastricht”.
We want to thank all participants and partners for sharing their overwhelming energy and inspiration!
This year SIFE The Netherlands organized a special lunch session during the National Competition to bring together top leaders from educational institutions and top business leaders in a SIFE Top to Top forum, to discuss SIFE and how to extend the SIFE win-win in the Netherlands in the coming years. The Top to Top forum served as a successful kick-off to connect top-level leaders from business and academics in our platform for social entrepreneurship.
