Unique Training opportunity for SIFE Alumni!

SIFE Alumni are invited to apply for a Train-the-Trainer program & to become certified SIFE Trainers!

SIFE The Netherlands is growing steadily. Not only in terms of participating students, teams, projects and companies, but also in terms of alumni. To ensure that the teams and SIFE members are equipped with the right knowledge & skills. SIFE The Netherlands is starting-up the SIFE Social Entrepreneurship Academy (S.S.E.A.). This spring the Social Entrepreneurship Academy will start with a pilot, the official kick-off will be in September.

The goal of the Social Entrepreneurship Academy is to prepare, support and develop SIFE members and teams for an effective, rewarding and successful SIFE experience. To this end, the Academy seeks trainers among alumni who are willing to train SIFE members in various skills and knowledge areas.

Trainers will receive professional training and coaching (through a Train the Trainer program developed and given by Tobias Goedbloed, Antoon Ensing (Kerp & Co) and Jonne Zweers, Alumnus SIFE University Utrecht & Board Member SIFE Alumni Association). Trainers are rewarded with the SIFE Certified Trainer certificate!

Tobias Goedbloed and Jonne Zweers are currently working to create an overview of the skills and knowledge the teams want to receive training on. But help from alumnus/alumna is definitely required to determine what subjects should be addressed and prioritized in training sessions. Therefore, a special meeting with dinner is organized by SIFE the Netherlands especially for alumni. This will be on Saturday, February 6 at 12:00, at the SIFE HQ in Amsterdam (SIFE will take care of lunch & refreshments).

The session of February 6 will be held using Open Space Technology, a group facilitation technique designed to help guide creative energy and insights to practical solutions. This will be an exciting afternoon you can spend working on the foundations of the future of SIFE NL. It is very important for the quality of the S.S.E.A. training program that you give your input on this day. If you want to help us out, please send an email to jonne.zweers@gmail.com.

• February 6: Open Space Meeting Training Modules
• February 13: Trainer Selection Day
• February 20: Train the Trainer 1
• February 27: Train the Trainer 2

The actual skills trainings will be offered to the students starting in March, and we would like to include you in the practicalities of this, such as location, dates and times.
