About Stenden SIFE Leeuwarden 2008/2009
Since 2003 Stenden SIFE is working with projects at a regional, national and international level. With students of different educations as International Hospitality Management, Small business and retail management, International business management, tourism management and more, we have gone through periods of hard working and enjoying the SIFE life.
Currently there are five projects in the Stenden SIFE portfolio, namely The B.I.G. Tree, Ecolumny, Corporate Seminars, G.E.L.D and Umbrella of Success. Additionally, we are working on feasibility studies on three other projects in South Africa, Namibia and The Netherlands.
In the new university year 2008/2009, Stenden SIFE has ambitious plans for implementing new sustainable projects and continues with the existing projects. With that we will work in line with the millennium goals, set by the 189 United Nations members. Moreover, this year Stenden SIFE is officially registered as an NGO and will be even more sustainable.
A major help to realize these plans are our SIFE minor students who are constantly involved in the Human Resource management, Project Coordination, Marketing, Team Captain and other functions. Additionally, we welcome every month a variety of new students which will enrich our team.
In addition to these innovative plans, the team is about to organize and improve its marketing efforts, such as designing a new website, brochures and other promotional material. This concludes for our team, that we have worked the previous years, but also continue working and improving on our SIFE projects and team.
